Popular as I am among storage vendors, InfoStor has given me another bully pulpit from which to preach. Check out Column #1 here, if you have a mind to.
Also, I welcome any input anyone wants to make on future topics. Not that I am running out of ideas, but I would be happy to consider exploring an issue that is on your mind, whether at InfoStor, or ESJ.com, or InformationWeek, or Mainframe Executive, or z/OS Journal, or Storage Magazine in the Netherlands, or SeachStorage, or (where else do I write these days?)
As always, this is the place to come for the preliminary notes and uncensored commentary. I can do this on DD because I don’t sell ads here.

Future topic idea: new wave of storage systems from Atrato, Panasas, Pivot3 and Xiotech. They offer accelerated I/O, and lots of scalability and capacity and simultaneous access that existing vendors cannot. Is this niche or potentially generic?
