I am working on a paper describing CA’s continous availability solutions for Exchange, SQL and SharePoint. The last one is a hairy beast with lots of hooks, so failing it over using anything but XOsoft strikes me as a painful undertaking.
I am also doing some report cards for ESJ.com that augment the one posted last week. These are round-ups of storage technologies that vendors claimed would be in widespread deployment by the end of this year. I take a look at what worked, what didn’t (or hasn’t yet), and why.
Still cooking up the difinitive paper on a Web Services Management Framework for Data Storage Connection.
Cutting and editing video footage for C-4.
Hanging curtains in the kid’s playroom, so they can pull them out of the wall.
Jaded? You betcha.
