ATHF Terrorists Bewilder Boston: Is No Place Safe?

by Administrator on February 1, 2007

Publicity stunt gone awry or a sinister effort to disrupt Bostonian calm?  You decide.

According to reports, Aqua Teen Hunger Force promoters stuck LED signs all over the city to promote their forthcoming movie.  These were circuit boards with batteries that illuminated the characters of the cartoon program aired on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim (which I happen to enjoy from time to time). Terror or Advertising

The publicity stunt was about as stupid as the ATHF cartoon.  As I was preparing to visit Boston on Monday and Tuesday, I watched this story develop with considerable interest.  Was I traveling into a high risk area?

Arrests have been made.  At least two folks, part of the ATHF terrorist organization, have been jailed…probably because of what we now know about exploding batteries.

Question #1:  who has been jailed for the substandard workmanship on the tunnels around the big dig?

Question #2:  how happy do you think Microsoft is for not placing LED signs for Vista all over hell and half of Georgia?

Note to self:  keep your rants virtual.

Are there no safe places left?  Tom Treadway sent me this link.  Apparently, upstate Missouri is the only area free of threat from natural disasters.

I want one of the “I was terrorized by a Light-Bright” T-Shirts. ;-)

What a rediculous thing – do people really believe that a dot-matrix rendering of a space-invader flipping someone off is an act of terrorism?
